The streets of Munich are buzzing in anticipation as the countdown edges closer to Bayern Munich's Champions League final against Chelsea.

On Saturday the title will be decided at the Fussball Arena. But for many Bayern fans, it's already forewritten.

    SOUNDBITE: (German) Bayern Munich fans:

"Bayern has the home advantage so a clear 3-0 win for Bayern. It's in Munich, it's the final, it's once in a lifetime, so you have to win."

But former Bayern Munich midfielder Paul Breitner's not sure the home venue will give them much of a leg up.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Paul Breitner, former Bayern Munich midfielder:

"I don't think that this is an advantage to play in our own stadium because the same crowd of supporters of Bayern Munich in the stadium as the crowd of the spectators of the supporters of FC Chelsea. So we play in our own stadium but it's not, it hasn't anything to do with a home game. It's for me the same if we would play in Madrid or Barcelona or anywhere else."

Victory for Bayern Munich would make them the first team to win the European Cup at their home ground since Inter Milan lifted the trophy at the San Siro in 1965.
