PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino has opened the door to signing Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.
The 33-year-old's contract at Barcelona is up at the end of this season, with PSG one of the clubs said to be interested in signing him.
"The club has a strategy to improve," PSG boss Pochettino told RMC Sport.
"If the opportunity to coach Messi comes up, it'd be amazing. But if not, it's not a problem.
"[Messi and I] share our love for Newell's. We've both worn that shirt, we have that link. But we'll see. You don't know what the future holds for us and whether our paths will cross."
If he did move to the Parc des Princes, Messi would join a strong Argentine contingent at the club, with Pochettino, Angel Di Maria and Leonardo Paredes already there.
He would also reunite with former Barcelona teammate Neymar, as well as fellow forward Kylian Mbappe.
"I think both of them are going to stay at PSG for a long time," Pochettino added on Neymar and Mbappe.
"I have no doubts about that. I'm very optimistic and the club is working hard to be successful in talks and keep both.
"Rather than just information, I've got that feeling. But that's how I see it: Mbappe and Neymar are happy, they're enjoying themselves here and the club is working on keeping them both."
