Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho was seen playing poker as a girl twerked on him and dancing at a pool around a throng of women in rapper Tropa do Bruxo’s new song

Ronaldinho has starred in a music video featuring half-naked models as the footballing legend has made a change of careers.

The former midfielder, who won the 2002 World Cup with Brazil, was released from a Paraguayan jail last April after entering the country with a fake passport.

And his return home has seen the 40-year-old embark on a musical career, planning to release eight songs in 2021.

His first appearance of the year, though, has come in a music video for rapper Tropa do Bruxo’s latest single.

Ronaldinho can be seen playing cards surrounded by half-naked women dancing and twerking around the table.

While the former Barcelona man also dances next to a pool, surrounded by women while wearing his famous Kangol hats.

And he ends the video by jumping on a pile of six women wearing just bikinis, in the video which has been viewed more than two million times on YouTube.

And Ronaldinho has promised that there is more to come, saying: “Music is my passion and being in that environment is what matters to me.

"And we still have 8 releases of the project, we are taking care of everything with great affection.

"I’ve always enjoyed R&B, rap, hip hop, and trap has grown a lot in recent years.

"It's a different beat that in Brazil became a thing of young people, a genre that has fewer rules, that uses social networks and platforms to its advantage.”

Ronaldinho released his first song in 2016, creating an anthem for sportspeople at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.

Called ‘Eu sou do mundo, um vencedor’ [I come from the world, a winner], it saw the former footballer sing in the studio as images of athletes competing were put over the top.

His next release had a different message, though, as his 2017 song called “Sozinho” [Alone] was put out.

While Ronaldinho made a track in 2019 about politics - just months after his cars were seized.

The World Cup-winner is not the only former footballer who has turned to music, though, as ex-Arsenal target Jackson Martinez has become a Christian rap artist.
