Off contract PSG striker Cavani offered to Real Madrid

Off contract PSG striker Edinson Cavani has been offered to Real Madrid.

Marca says Cavani was offered to the club prior to their scoreless draw at Real Sociedad on Sunday evening.

Although his salary would be high - around seven million euros a year - the possibility to sign him without having to spend money on a transfer fee has Los Blancos considering his arrival as an option.

Juventus, Roma, Gremio, Benfica and Atletico Madrid have all reportedly spoken to Cavani and his representative, his brother Fernando, since he left PSG.

For now, Cavani is continuing to train at home in Uruguay.
