Tottenham fans have helped Gareth Bale sort out his places where the forward can enjoy his golf as a return is imminent.

The Welshman is getting close to a north London return, with Jose Mourinho’s side set to agree a loan deal from Real Madrid worth £13m.

Leaving Spurs for the Bernabeu, it would bring an end to the forward’s seven-year stay in Spain, where he has scored 105 goals in more than 250 appearances.

But the 31-year-old was an outcast under Zinedine Zidane last season, cutting an awkward figure in the club’s La Liga title celebrations last season.

One point that broke down the relationship between the pair was Bale’s love of golf, which featured on a flag after Wales secured qualification for Euro 2021.

The national flag was held up with the words “Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order” as the man who cost Real £85m smiled along.

It has seen the 31-year-old get mocked for his sporting passion on the green – but Spurs fans want to help him truly settle back in again at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

An image emerged on Reddit identifying the nearest golf clubs to the club’s home ground, with five falling into a three-mile radius – and there is even a crazy golf club in that range.

The Spurs faithful were left in stitches at the image, with one supporter saying: “Bale’s hobby is sorted.”

Another commented: “Tottenham Goflspur – here we go!”

While a third also pointed out a club near to his regular Spurs base, with: “There is a golf course right next to the Enfield training centre.”

And a fourth added: “Can we get him playing with Harry Kane?”

A fifth suggested which club Bale should join, sarcastically writing: “Jurassic Falls Adventure Golf must be top choice.”

With a sixth simply saying: “Him and Kane will go for a casual putt.”

Bale is only waiting to fly back to London on a private jet ahead of his medical at Spurs – but the forward could also be joined on the flight path by team-mate Sergio Reguilon.
