Manchester United legend Beckham and his pop star wife Victoria are alleged to have secretly caught coronavirus while in Los Angeles

David Beckham allegedly feared he became a coronavirus super-spreader after a party in Los Angeles.

The Manchester United legend an his pop star wife Victoria attended a swanky do in LA following his new football team Inter Miami's first-ever match in the city.

It is alleged that relatives of Becks and staff members from the football club also caught the virus.

Following the football club party, the Beckhams flew back to the UK for son Brooklyn's 21st birthday party.

After another alleged short trip back to the States, this time to Miami, the Beckhams isolated at their second home in the Cotswolds.

It was only after then where they allegedly discovered that they had tested positive for Covid-19.

The Sun claim that a friend said: “It was an absolute nightmare scenario.

“David was on duty for his club Inter Miami, and Victoria and the family flew down to support him.

“They attended a couple of swanky networking events as David had promotional duties, and were shaking hands and kissing fans and various club dignitaries.

“They then flew back to London, and were whisked straight to their Cotswolds mansion.”

It is also claimed that drivers, bodyguards and assistants who were present at the football club do also fell ill of coronavirus.

Victoria was allegedly left ill in bed from the bug.

The couple also allegedly sent 'care packages' to at least two people who were badly affected by coronavirus.

Following the scare, the Beckhams rejected a host of party invites and ensured they had swab and antibody tests before holidaying in Greece and Italy.

During lockdown, the Beckhams shared pictures of their isolation period, as they clapped NHS staff for their service and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.
