Kai Havertz has emerged as a target for Chelsea this summer and fans are desperate for the attacking midfielder to make the switch to Stamford Bridge.
Kai Havertz has teased Chelsea fans on social media, by liking a tweet which urges the Blues to 'announce Havertz.' The Bayer Leverkusen star is on Chelsea's shortlist as Frank Lampard aims to close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League next season.
Roman Abramovich has already given Lampard a huge vote of confidence, by bringing Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner through the door.
The striker confirmed he was heading to west London earlier today in an announcement video.
Yet he may not be the only German to arrive at the club in the coming months.
Chelsea are poised to go all-out to sign Havertz this summer with Leverkusen set to demand up to £90million for the 20-year-old.
Yet the Blues are not short of funds following the sales of Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard.
Now Havertz has got Chelsea supporters drooling after liking a post that asks the Blues to sign him.
Chelsea tweeted Werner's first message to supporters and one fan replied: "Announce Havertz."
Havertz was quick to like the post, which he was not even tagged in.
It would suggest he is interested in the prospect of a move to Stamford Bridge, where he could join up with international colleagues Werner and Antonio Rudiger.
The defender played a key part in helping broker the deal to bring Werner to the club.
The pair played together at Stuttgart and are also regulars in Joachim Low's Germany set-up.
Chelsea have eyes on three targets including Havertz.
Ben Chilwell would solve their problems at left-back with both Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri unable to nail down the spot.

Lampard is a fan of the player is believed to have spoken to him already.
Leicester are prepared to play hardball though and demand up to £80m.
The same tactic saw them persuade Manchester United to pay a world-record fee for Harry Maguire last August.
Chilwell is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge but is unlikely to force his way out of Leicester.
Brentford winger Said Benrahma is also on Chelsea's radar and would cost £25m.
