The incident has caught the attention of the head of the Polish FA, Zbigniew Boniek, who tweeted : "The question is what will he drive when he starts playing?" in response to news of the crash.

Bulka joined PSG in search of more first team opportunities, telling the club's website when he signed: "I am really pleased and honoured to join Paris Saint-Germain today.

"Not only is this club a great reference in France and Europe, but it is also renowned for allowing many young players to express their potential in recent years.

"After my experience in England, I will do my best to continue my progress here with a fantastic squad and especially with top level goalkeepers."

However, he has only made on senior appearance for Les Parisiens and is firmly behind ex-Real Madrid stopper Keylor Navas and Sergio Rico in the pecking order.

PSG were recently crowned Ligue 1 champions when the season was ended, marking the club's third successive league title.
