Manchester United could be set for a complete kit makeover after a new design was leaked but fans were not impressed

Manchester United’s adidas kit for the new season has been leaked – but fans are not impressed.

The Red Devils have one of the most lucrative deals with the sportswear brand, valued at £750m over 10 years when signed in 2014.

With the future of this season in doubt, thoughts are turning to the 2020/21 campaign.

A big part of this is the new kit – and fans were given a sneak peak of a potential strip by Twitter channel Footy Headlines.

A series of black and yellow blocks cover the famous red strip.

While adidas’ logo is in white as opposed to the black used in previous kits.

This was soon shared on Twitter, where the United faithful were left unimpressed.

"The home kit for next season is awful,” one supporter said.

Another commented: “Scam.”

While a third held nothing back.

"One of the worst kits ever,” they said.

And a fourth added: “Looks like a seat on the bus.”

One player to impress fans in a United kit this season is Bruno Fernandes, who joined from Sporting Lisbon in January.

Since arriving, the Portuguese midfielder has scored three goals and made four assists for the Red Devils.

But Paul Pogba was a big part of the transfer, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has since spoken out about the midfielders working together for the Red Devils.

He said: “Of course, you look at our squad and you want the best players playing together.

"You have a hope that we get to the stage where we really challenge for the league.

"We want to consistently keep winning games like Manchester United teams do by playing convincing, attacking, free-flowing football with flair.”

It comes as Pogba was seen training in a Juventus shirt – but he had a brilliant reason for it.
