Ajax have confirmed on social media that Hakim Ziyech will be joining Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Reports emerged from the Netherlands yesterday that the Blues had reached a verbal agreement with Ajax over the £38m signing of Ziyech.
And now the Dutch outfit have confirmed he is headed for Stamford Bridge on Twitter.
Along with a video that shows Ziyech’s highlights, Ajax wrote: “Hey @ChelseaFC, you have to believe in his magic.
"And great things will happen.”
Chelsea have also issued a statement of their own, saying: “Chelsea Football Club has reached an agreement with Ajax to sign Hakim Ziyech this summer.
"The move is subject to the player agreeing personal terms and he will remain at the Dutch club for the rest of this season.”
Frank Lampard has wasted no time in going after his top summer transfer targets having failed to strengthen his squad in the January market.

It is believed the Blues boss urged club officials to tie up a deal for Ziyech as quickly as possible having missed out on winter recruits last month.
The Morocco international lined up twice against his side in the Champions League group stages, registering three assists in a dramatic 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge back in November.

And Ziyech clearly impressed Lampard, who has sealed his first signing since returning to Chelsea as their head coach back in July.
He will continue to ply his trade with Ajax for the rest of the season before joining the Blues when the transfer window reopens on June 10.
The 26-year-old has eight goals and 21 assists in 29 appearances so far this term, as well as a wealth of Champions League experience.
Lucas Moura’s late strike for Tottenham denied Ziyech and his heartbroken team-mates a place in last year’s showpiece out in Madrid, following a surprise run that saw them go all the way to the semi-finals.
Nevertheless, Ajax manager Erik ten Hag is surprised Ziyech has taken so long to secure a big-money move away.
"Ziyech to Chelsea? A transfer was coming, we expected it to happen,” he told Dutch TV channel FOX Sports.
"And I actually already expected this one or two years earlier.
"And each time it was: 'Wow, he stayed again'.
"We are just happy that we will still have him until the end of the season.”
