Leaders Barrow suffered their first National League defeat since October after Michael Woods’ late winner gave Dover a 2-1 victory.
Dover took the lead after 19 minutes when a corner into the box fell to Will De Havilland, who drilled the ball into the net.
Barrow had a number of chances in the second half, but had to wait until the 80th minute for the equaliser, with John Rooney converting a spot-kick.
But Dover got the winner two minutes from time when Woods fired the ball into the net, leaving Barrow with a seven-point lead at the summit.
