Man City are set to slap a £100m price tag on Jesus to scare off Bayern
MANCHESTER CITY will slap a £100million price-tag on Gabriel Jesus to scare off Bayern Munich.
The German giants spent all summer chasing winger Leroy Sane, before a cruciate ligament injury sidelined him until February.
But Bayern are also keen on striker Jesus, 22, despite the Brazilian signing a new long-term deal last year.
Jesus, a £28.6m buy from Palmeiras in 2016, hit his 50th City goal in last Saturday’s 2-0 win at Crystal Palace.
And he also starred in yesterday’s 3-0 Premier League victory over Aston Villa, which sent City back to second spot.
Even so, superstar striker Jesus has still started just FOUR league games this season.
It has not gone unnoticed by both Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain.
Yet City boss Pep Guardiola views him as the long-term successor to club record goalscorer Sergio Aguero, 31, and has told the City board as much.
The Etihad top brass will listen by telling any interested clubs that he is NOT going anywhere.
And they would not even entertain anything less than four times the price they paid for him.
