Lucas Vazquez's wife pleas for peace on social media after Casemiro's house is robbed

Casemiro has become the latest footballer to have his house robbed, with the incident taking place while the Brazilian was playing in the Madrid derby on Saturday.

Both the midfielder's wife and son were at their home when it was robbed but neither were hurt.

Maca Capilla, the wife of Lucas Vazquez, has taken to social media to voice her distress at this worrying trend of footballers' houses being broken into.

Capilla and Vazquez's home was also robbed last summer while they were on holiday, while the same thing has happened to the likes of Zinedine Zidane and Isco.

"One after the other," she wrote on Instagram.

"When will we be able to live in peace in your own home?

"When will we be able to go to work in peace?"

There are now more than 15 footballers in Spain who have seen their houses sobbed in the last few years.

Gerard Pique, Karim Benzema, Jordi Alba, Alvaro Morata, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Arthur Melo, Joaquin, William Carvalho, Ezequiel Garay, Gabriel Paulista, Ramiro Funes Mori and Geoffrey Kondogbia have all fallen foul of the crime.
