HARRY MAGUIRE showed who's the daddy as he enjoyed a dream Manchester United debut.

The world's most expensive defender, 26, kept a clean sheet as United smashed Chelsea 4-0 in their Premier League opener.

His family made the trip up and it was a happy one for them as he was named Man of the Match.

And his missus Fern Hawkins was also there with their daughter Lillie, who was proudly wearing her own kit with "Daddy 5" on the back.

Maguire, who cost £80million, a world record fee for a defender, looked assured at the back as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got the campaign off to a flyer for the Red Devils.

It was contrasting emotions for Maguire's brother, Laurence yesterday, who was given his marching orders during Chesterfield's 2-2 draw against Borehamwood - four rungs below England's top flight.

Prior to Harry's debut, his other brother, Joe, posted a pic of the family and they were in good spirits.

And after the game, Maguire insists United have to make their home ground a 'fortress'.

He said: "It is a great start for myself and the team. We rode our luck a bit first half but second we were much more ourselves.
"It is the first game at Old Trafford so I think there were nerves. We gave the ball away in dangerous areas.

"We moved it nicely second half and our front three are so dangerous on the break.

"We knew there were only two clean sheets last year here. We need to make it a fortress.

"I felt good. I've only had three or four days with the lads. I am going to get fitter and better."

Maguire also took to Twitter to thank the fans.

He tweeted: "Proud to make my debut and great to get three points at Old Trafford, the atmosphere was class.

"Clean sheet for the team too. Thanks for the amazing support."
