BARCELONA'S pursuit of Neymar has not stopped them adding Bayern Munich star David Alaba to their wishlist, reports say.
Austria left-back Alaba, 27, is said to be Barca's No 1 choice to provide competition to Spain regular Jordi Alba.
And ESPN say Alaba's agents offered him to Barcelona several weeks ago.
Augsburg's uncapped German Philipp Max, 25, and Real Betis Spaniard Junior Firpo, 22, are named as alternatives if Nou Camp boss Ernesto Valverde fails to sign Alaba.
Arsenal have also been linked with Gunners' fan Alaba - boosted by France star Lucas Hernandez, 23, joining Bayern from Atletico Madrid for a club record £68million earlier this month.
Alaba has claimed he is "happy" at Bayern - but still tempted to look elsewhere.
He told German newspaper Bild in May: “I can imagine trying something else, but I really feel very comfortable at Bayern.
“I'm happy in Munich, but of course I can imagine seeing something else.
"In Spain it would be the two big clubs, I guess? Real or Barcelona.
"Also the big clubs [in England]. Yes I was [an Arsenal fan as a child].
"When you've been [an] Arsenal fan as a kid you will be one your whole life in some way.”
Meanwhile, Barcelona are reportedly struggling to fund the possible return of £198m Neymar from PSG, especially since Antoine Griezmann's £108m arrival.
