And the 44-year-old visited the Lionesses squad after full time.

But Carly Telford and Jade Moore, who were on the bench for the Norway win, revealed how the former England star brought a lot of excitement to the team.

In the latest episode of Lionesses Daily, the host asks the pair about Beckham’s visit.

And she reveals what another star, Manchester City’s Scott, said about the former midfielder.

"I don’t think Jill is yet over Beckham’s visit,” the host said.

This brings a laugh from Moore, who goes on to reveal the moment the squad realised he was there.

The Reading Women’s star said: “It was Rachel Daly who spotted him.

"We were all going to pre-match and she was stood at the door.

"She could clearly see him walking down the corridor.”

But the Houston Dash star had a hilarious reaction to Beckham’s arrival.

"She went ‘guys, everyone, just brace yourselves’,” Moore recalled with an elevated voice.

"Everyone was like what’s going on.”
