Arsenal need their own Van Dijk

Former Gunners boss George Graham has told Arsenal to sort out their defence by signing a Virgil van Dijk style defender.

Liverpool splashed out £70m on the Dutchman last January and the move has since paid dividends.

Unai Emery side missed out on Champions League football agains this year, while the Reds won the entire tournament.

Graham boss told football.london that Arsenal must strengthen at the back if they want to win silverware next season.

"They've got goals in the team and they've proved that this year, the way they've scored goals," he said. "But they've also conceded.

"I see other teams like Liverpool, buying Virgil van Dijk for £70 million.

"I think if they can do it, can Arsenal do it. They need that type of quality."

Liverpool's style receives plaudit from Man Utd target

Manchester United target Bruno Fernandes says he prefers Liverpool's style over Premier League champions Manchester City.

The Sporting Lisbon ace sparked Premier League interest after grabbing 31 goals in 50 appearances this season.

Man City and Liverpool back in for Fekir

Liverpool will have competition in the form of Manchester City if they make a move to sign Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir.

According to the Daily Express, the Premier League champions asked to be kept in touch with developments about the playmaker.

Fekir was on the verge on a Anfield move last summer, but the deal fell through.

Jurgen Klopp is still interested in the player who he almost signed for £53m.

Arsenal and Tottenham are playing close attention to Ajax midfielder Donny Van De Beek.

After inspiring the Dutch side to the Champions League semi-finals, Van De Beek looks set for a new challenge.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the 22-year-old has already had offers to quit Ajax for pastures new.

Inter Milan have spoken with the player who scored 15 goals in all competitions this season.

But Tottenham, who saw Van de Beek's talent at close quarters in the Champions League, and Arsenal, are both monitoring developments closely.
