Spanish media claim at least EIGHT Man City stars to demand transfer this summer 'including Sane and Jesus' following Champions League flop

SPANISH media report Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus are just two out of a possible eight players that have asked to leave Manchester City in the summer.

Neither player started in the recent 4-3 win against Tottenham as the Citizens crashed out of the Champions League on away goals.

According to El Chiringuito, there are 'seven or eight' City stars that are seeking a move away from the Etihad at the end of the season.

They sensationally claim that forwards Sane and Jesus are unhappy about their amount of game time this season, with both finding themselves on the bench regularly.

The Brazilian has started just eight Premier League games this season - coming on as a substitute on 18 occasions in the top-flight.

While Sane has been an unused substitute in four out of the last eight Prem games with Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva preferred instead.

The Spanish news outlet report that their request to leave will trigger a response from a number of players in the City squad who are convinced that Pep Guardiola will continue to leave them out.

It has been exclusively revealed that the Spaniard has held a clear-the-air meeting with his side after their hopes of winning a historic quadruple were shattered.

City have already won the League Cup this campaign, while they are in the FA Cup final and currently sit second in the Premier League table.

The squad have clubbed together to lay on 26 coaches for fans to go to Wembley to face the Hornets on May 18.

Skipper Vincent Kompany said: “The support from our fans throughout the season has been nothing short of incredible.

"Travelling to so many games in league and cup competitions, both home and away, is not easy to do and is something that every player in our squad values and appreciates."

Before adding: "We still have so much to fight for this season, and this is our way of saying thank you to them for being with us every step of the way."
