Barnet beat Harrogate thanks to Dave Tarpey strike
Posted Wednesday, March 20, 2019 by PA
Dave Tarpey’s first goal for Barnet earned them a 1-0 National League win over Harrogate.
Tarpey, on loan from Maidstone, scored the only goal of the game on the half-hour as he fired home Ephron Mason-Clark’s assist.
Wesley Fonguck, who had earlier grazed the crossbar with a cross, came close to adding a second after the break but his shot was deflected just wide while Bees striker Shaquile Coulthirst headed off target.
Harrogate had nothing in the way of a response as their play-off hopes were dented as they drew a first blank since December.
