UEFA CL quarter-finals draw

Following the draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the Champions League, Barcelona have been pitted against Manchester United, then could face either Liverpool or Porto in the last four. Elsewhere, Ajax take on Juventus, and Manchester City face Tottenham.

One positive if that Ernesto Valverde's team have avoided two of the competition's big guns in City and Juventus, and have a very good chance of making the final on June 1 at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus are certainly favourites against Ajax, who beat Real Madrid in the Round of 16, and will play the second leg at the Allianz Stadium. Thus they have everything in their favour to make it to the semi-finals. While the Dutch side sprung a surprise in the last round, things are a whole tougher against the Bianconeri.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City face a duel with fellow Premier League side Tottenham. Last season, City fell at the quarter-final stage against another English team, Liverpool, and will hope history doesn't repeat itself.

The final quarter-final pits Liverpool against Porto with the winner taking on Barcelona or Manchester United. Jurgen Klopp's men are clear favourites, though Iker Casillas, Pepe and Eder Militao will be tough to breakthrough.
