AC MILAN will rival Manchester United and Tottenham for Sampdoria defender Joachim Anderson, according to reports.
The Swedish centre-back, 22, has been starring in Serie A and is being tipped to leave for a bigger club this summer.
Joachim Anderson is attracting plenty of interest from big clubs
CalcioMercato claim Inter Milan lead the way for Anderson, with their cross-city rivals joining the Prem duo in the hunt.
The Rossoneri are looking for somebody to partner skipper Alessio Romagnoli at the back and have made the position a No1 priority.
United have been in the market for a central defender for some time.
But SunSport exclusively revealed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will let Manchester United’s defenders prove themselves before deciding whether to splash out this summer.
The Old Trafford boss-in-waiting has £80million to spend on a centre-back but his priority is a right winger.
SunSport last month revealed United’s interest in England ace Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund.
Solskjaer is also monitoring Juventus star Douglas Costa and Inter wide man Ivan Perisic.
Senegal’s Kalidou Koulibaly has been watched regularly at Napoli this season and would shatter the £75m paid by Liverpool for Virgil van Dijk.
