Grimsby are without suspended defender Ludvig Ohman for Saturday’s visit of Cambridge in Sky Bet League Two.
The Swede must serve a one-match ban after his sending off in last weekend’s draw at Swindon, which ended a run of four successive wins.
Midfielder Martyn Woolford will be assessed after suffering a knock but is a doubt.
Club captain John Welsh (hamstring) is still not fit and midfielder Elliott Whitehouse (knee) is a long-term absentee.
Cambridge are without a host of players due to injury and suspension.
Defender Jake Carroll sits out his second match following his sending off at Cheltenham while Jake Doyle-Hayes (ankle), David Forde (shoulder), Liam O’Neil (hip) and Kevin Pilkington (wrist) are still sidelined.
On the positive side, defender Hayden Coulson (back) and forward Harrison Dunk (knee) could return.
Brad Halliday (calf) could also have a chance of featuring and will be given a fitness test.
