The north London outfit travelled to Turf Moor in Saturday's early kick-off knowing a win would put them within two points of Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Spurs were beaten 2-1 despite a second-half equaliser from Kane himself.

But Mauricio Pochettino will be buoyed by the fact he has his star striker back in his team ahead of a busy few weeks.

However, some football supporters think Tottenham may be better off resting Kane for a few more games.

"Harry Kane is Tottenham's problem lol," one tweeted.

"Spurs statistically a better team without Kane," another said.

"Yo when did Harry Kane return?" one wrote.

"Just can’t see the justification for Harry Kane playing so soon, #Spurs have been playing so well lately why risk it?" added a fourth.

"Kane needs to be dropped. Spurs so much better without him," another said.

Kane has suffered a number of ankle injuries in recent years.

But speaking this week, he revealed how his fiance has helped him through his tough times.

"She's been there through all the ups and the downs," he told the Times.

"She's been with me when I've been successful; she's been with me when I've been struggling or had injuries.

"When I feel bad about something, or when I need to get something off my chest, I can just turn to her and talk about anything.

"By being open it just allows me to form a stronger bond with her.

"Especially in football, you have a lot of emotions, you have a lot of feelings, and sometimes you just bottle them up, and you don't want to talk about them to your team-mates."
