THIS is the strange moment James Tomkins gets an intimate gaze at Palace team-mate Vicente Guaita's Crystal balls in an uplifting 4-1 victory at Leicester.

Guaita is proud to have shown plenty of presence between the sticks this season as Roy Hodgson's men ease away from the Premier League drop zone.

And the Eagles kept their pecker up at the King Power Stadium tonight - defying a strong start from the Foxes to triumph in style.

But at one stage Spaniard Guaita clearly had a little local difficulty, calling on centre-back Tomkins to check the problem out for him.

On-loan Michy Batshuayi trousered the Palace opener on 40 minutes, stabbing home a mis-hit shot from James McArthur.

Jonny Evans fired Leicester level midway through the second period.

But Wilfried Zaha bagged a clinical double either side of a Luka Milivojevic penalty to put the Eagles 13th, just a place behind the Foxes.

It leaves Claude Puel with six defeats and one draw in his last seven games as Leicester chief.

Much more of this and he too might be facing the sack.
