Burnley vs Tottenham Hotspur - Gudmundsson and Brady in contention
Posted Friday, February 22, 2019 by PA
Burnley expect to have Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Robbie Brady available for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham.
But midfielder Steven Defour will once again be missing and is set to see another specialist in an attempt to resolve the recurring calf problems that have limited him to a handful of appearances this season.
Winger Aaron Lennon remains sidelined by a knee injury suffered in the away match against his former club Spurs in December but is making good progress.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will decide whether to use Harry Kane at Turf Moor.
The England captain has returned to training after a seven-game absence with an ankle injury.
Dele Alli (hamstring) remains injured but is nearing a return, while Danny Rose will be assessed as he has been laid low with illness.
