Peterborough will have Tyler Denton back from suspension when they host Shrewsbury on Saturday.

The defender was suspended after picking up two yellow cards in a 3-1 defeat at Doncaster on February 9 and missed the 1-0 win over Oxford.

It remains to be seen whether left-back Daniel Lafferty will be fit following a hamstring issue while Callum Cooke has recovered from the illness which kept him out of the game against Oxford on Saturday.

Winger Siriki Dembele remains sidelined with a knee injury while on-loan defender Josh Knight has returned to parent club Leicester with ankle ligament damage.

Josh Laurent could make a return from injury for Sam Ricketts’ Shrewsbury after he missed the 1-1 draw with Burton with an ankle injury.

After being out for two weeks following an eye injury, fellow midfielder Greg Docherty has also returned to training and will be assessed ahead of the game against Posh.

Former Wales international Dave Edwards remains suspended following his straight red card in the 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers.

Versatile Frenchman Romain Vincelot remains sidelined with a long-term knee injury and is expected to return to training in four weeks’ time.
