Kabamba and Hawkes both score twice as Hartlepool thump Boreham Wood

Nicke Kabamba made it five goals in four games and Josh Hawkes also bagged a brace as Hartlepool extended Boreham Wood’s winless run to nine matches with a 4-0 win.
Kabamba, on loan from Havant and Waterlooville, nodded Pools into an early lead, angling his header across the goalkeeper.
Boreham Wood refused to buckle initially and Jamal Fyfield crashed a header against the crossbar.
But Hawkes doubled the hosts’ advantage shortly after the restart with a low shot into the left corner.
The midfielder then added his second from the penalty spot after Luke James had been fouled in the area, before Kabamba added the finishing blow at the death.
