Falkirk claim home win against Queen of the South

Falkirk secured a first home league win of the season at the 12th attempt as they eased to a 3-0 victory against Queen of the South.
The Bairns were leading 2-0 when Davis Keillor-Dunn was sent off but went on to score a third and seal the points through Deimantas Petravicius.
It was not enough to move off the foot of the Scottish Championship, however, with Partick also winning.
The struggling home side took the lead after eight minutes when Keillor-Dunn headed home his first goal for the club from Paul Dixon’s cross.
Petravicius spurned the chance to double the Bairns’ lead on the half-hour and leading scorer Zak Rudden was denied by Alan Martin in the 50th minute.
Falkirk were dominant and extended their lead after 64 minutes when debutant William Edjenguele nodded in Ian McShane’s free-kick.
Goalscorer Keillor-Dunn was dismissed with 18 minutes remaining after picking up his second booking of the afternoon, but that did not deter the Bairns as Petravicius made it three shortly afterwards.
