Liverpool fans react to Eder Militao rumours

Liverpool are interested in signing £45 million-rated Porto ace Eder Militao, according to a report from the Daily Mail (print edition, page 128, 20th January), and some Reds fans took to Twitter in reaction to the news.

There is a problem for the Merseyside outfit, however, and that is Real Madrid's interest in the Brazilian.

According to a report from Brazilian media outlet SPOR TV, the 21-year-old is close to sealing a switch to Los Blancos, so Liverpool will have to act fast if they want to get their man.

Militao is predominantly a centre-back by trade, but he can also play at right-back and in the deep-lying midfield role.

The Porto ace is a real talent, and has the potential to go on and become a real star in the game.

The Reds already have an incredibly strong defence, but Militao would add even more depth and quality to Jürgen Klopp's back-line.

1. Eder Militao to Liverpool - CB/RB cover is exactly what Liverpool need at 20yr old and very athletic... needs to happen with good jump and covering runs he could slot right next to VVD and cover TAA when needed!
