Oxford will be hopeful of handing a debut to Ahmed Kashi in their Sky Bet League One meeting with leaders Portsmouth.
Karl Robinson’s side are without a league win since mid-December and have signed the Troyes midfielder on loan until the end of the season.
Kashi previously worked with Robinson at Charlton and could come straight into the side for the visit of Pompey.
Jamie Mackie scored off the bench to secure a 2-2 draw at Fleetwood last time out and should be fit to start following a back injury while Shandon Baptiste, Rob Hall and Jon Obika are long-term absentees.
Portsmouth head to the Kassam Stadium on the back of a rare defeat, losing 1-0 at home to Blackpool last time out.
The visitors could also hand a debut to a new midfielder after signing Bryn Morris from Shrewsbury on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Kenny Jackett does still have some injury concerns with Nathan Thompson and Lee Brown struggling with hamstring problems and Ben Close (ankle) also sidelined.
Oli Hawkins (calf) is also expected to miss out again as Portsmouth look to return to winning ways.
