Neal Maupay will return to the Brentford starting line-up for the visit of Stoke.
The sought-after forward, who has scored 16 goals this season, climbed off the bench to hit the winning penalty against Oxford in the FA Cup last weekend.
Defender Chris Mepham is expected to be available after an ankle injury.
Emiliano Marcondes, Lewis Macleod and Marcus Forss remain sidelined, although the latter is not far from a return to fitness.
Nathan Jones will take charge of Stoke for the first time after being appointed as Gary Rowett’s replacement this week.
Defender Ryan Shawcross and midfielder Ryan Woods will be assessed after missing the FA Cup draw at Shrewsbury through illness, while Joe Allen sat out with a knock.
When asked for an injury update Jones said that there were one or two issues which he did not want to expand upon.
Jones inherits a side without a win in their last four games and lying 14th in the table.
