Accrington continue to be without striker Offrande Zanzala as he serves the second match of a three-game ban for the visit of Bristol Rovers.
Midfielder Scott Brown also serves a one-match suspension.
On-loan goalkeeper Connor Ripley was recalled by Middlesbrough – the sixth loan player to leave the club this month – to sign permanently for Preston so Jonathan Maxted is set to regain his place.
Right-back Callum Johnson, who is attracting interest from Preston, is a doubt for with a groin injury.
Bristol Rovers defender Joe Martin has returned to Stevenage after the end of his loan spell.
Goalkeeper Sam Slocombe is back at the club following his loan spell at Lincoln but a place on the bench would be the best he could hope for.
Illness has struck a number of players in the squad but only a couple are still affected and boss Graham Coughlan should have most of his squad available.
Defender Tareiq Holmes-Dennis, whose pitch time is being carefully managed after a knee problem, could return after sitting out the last two matches.
