Nigel Atangana sidelined for Cheltenham

Cheltenham midfielder Nigel Atangana will miss Saturday’s match with Tranmere as he begins a spell of up to nine months out following Achilles surgery.
The 29-year-old was hurt in last weekend’s Sky Bet League Two loss at Crawley, and joins Will Boyle and Sean Long on the list of long-term absentees.
Johnny Mullins will also miss the match with an ankle injury, while Manny Daku – back from loan at Barnet – is out with a knee problem.
Jordon Foster is doubtful with a dead leg and though Ryan Broom is close to a return, he is unlikely to start.
Tranmere, licking their wounds from last week’s 7-0 FA Cup thrashing by Tottenham, have strengthened their squad during the week.
Midfielder Harvey Gilmour has joined on a free transfer from Sheffield United, while Ishmael Miller has signed for the rest of the season from Oldham.
Both could come into the reckoning this weekend.
However, defender Ritchie Sutton has left for Morecambe on a free transfer while striker Cole Stockton has joined Wrexham on loan.
