Evans suspended for Fleetwood

Fleetwood striker Ched Evans will be banned for Saturday’s visit of Oxford in League One.
The Welshman starts a two-game suspension after being found guilty of directing abuse at the referee during the match at Bristol Rovers on December 22.
That could mean an immediate return to first-team duties for Ashley Nadesan, who is back at the club following a loan at League Two Carlisle and in Joey Barton’s plans.
Lewis Coyle is available having extended his loan spell from Leeds until the end of the season, but Kyle Dempsey has joined Peterborough on loan while Chris Long signed for Blackpool after his contract was cancelled.
Oxford’s Shandon Baptiste is beginning up to 10 months on the sidelines after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament against Brentford in the FA Cup.
The 20-year-old had only just returned from 11 weeks out following shoulder surgery.
There are also problems in attack, where Jamie Mackie is doubtful. The veteran forward suffered a back injury in the warm-up at Brentford but played for an hour regardless due to a shortage of alternatives.
Rob Hall and Jon Obika are long-term absentees.
