Jak McCourt scored in stoppage time as Swindon snatched a 2-1 victory at Macclesfield.
Swindon had won the August meeting via two stoppage-time penalties and again dramatically struck late to take home the points.
It was Macc who drew first blood on 14 minutes, Michael Rose’s teasing free kick from deep turned in by Tyrone Marsh.
Sol Campbell’s side almost doubled the lead moments later but Scott Wilson’s lob dropped wide after keeper Lawrence Vigouroux spilled his own clearance.
The Robins also played their part in an entertaining opening half and, after Kaiyne Woolery was denied by Kieran O’Hara’s tip-over they levelled through Marc Richards 10 minutes before the break. McCourt’s beautifully-flighted free kick was nodded past O’Hara by Richards at close range.
Though the second half was equally balanced, the chances had all but dried up and the game looked like limping to a draw.
But Jermaine McGlashan broke down the right and his ball in fell for McCourt to slam in the winner in the second minute of added time.
