LEICESTER City ace Jamie Vardy might be carrying a bit of extra timber when he returns to the pitch after Christmas.

The player looked like he had abandoned his healthy eating regime for the festive season – as he headed home from his "big" Christmas shop.

The £80,000-a-week striker and his glamorous wife Rebekah, 36, regularly hunt for bargains at their local branch of Costco the week before Christmas.

This year they wheeled trollies stuffed with goodies including a 12 pack of Pot Noodle, a Ferrero Rocher tree, two bags of tortilla chips and a bumper pack of chicken kimichi.

The couple, may also be planning a boozy reunion with the England lads and their wags this festive season.

With a nod to their Russian exploits, they grabbed a massive bottle of Belvedere Vodka, along with a crate of Desperados, Budweiser, Kopparberg, and energy drinks.

They also had snacks including pretzels for £6.39, soft baguettes for £1.75 and Nescafe cappuccino sachets for £7.69.

The pair, who have been married since 2016 also picked up a new knife block, some pans and a paper plates – hinting that they might be doing the hosting this year.

Dressed in a cosy orange jumper, leggings and a denim jacket the busy full-time mum looked like she fancied some down-time over the Christmas break, with a copy of Country Living magazine and Michelle Obama's new autobiography, Becoming.
