Jiri Skalak is a doubt for Millwall’s home game with fellow strugglers Reading.
The Czech Republic international has missed the last two matches as he fights a bacterial infection.
Midfielder Shaun Williams is expected to be out until the new year with an ankle injury.
Strikers Aiden O’Brien and Steve Morison are pushing for returns to the starting line-up after coming off the bench in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Stoke.
Reading have a new man in charge after Portuguese coach Jose Gomes was named manager on Saturday.
Gomes watched from the stands as the Royals went down 1-0 at home to Middlesbrough.
John O’Shea is back from injury but was only fit enough to be among the substitutes.
Fellow defenders Tom McIntyre, Liam Moore, Paul McShane, Tiago Ilori are set to miss out again.
