Man United vs Huddersfield Town - Mounie returns from suspension for Huddersfield
Posted Saturday, December 22, 2018 by PA
Huddersfield striker Steve Mounie is back in contention for Saturday’s home game against Southampton.
Mounie has served a three-game ban following his dismissal in the recent defeat to Arsenal and boss David Wagner must decide whether to recall him to the starting line-up or retain Laurent Depoitre.
Winger Rajiv van La Parra (back) will be monitored, but midfielders Aaron Mooy, Danny Williams (both knee) and Abdelhamid Sabiri (shoulder) plus defender Tommy Smith (hamstring) are out.
Jack Stephens, Cedric Soares and Mario Lemina will return to contention for Southampton.
Defenders Stephens and Soares and midfielder Lemina missed last weekend’s win over Arsenal through injury but have since been back in training.
Saints left-back Ryan Bertrand remains unavailable following a back operation.
