Paul Paton missed a glorious late chance to earn Falkirk a first home win of the season in the Scottish Championship as they drew 0-0 with Morton.
Paton, with two goals in his last three appearances, headed wide from Tom Robson’s cross with 10 minutes remaining.
The game, played in freezing conditions, came to life in the closing stages with Paton being denied by Morton keeper Derek Gaston moments later.
Falkirk stopper David Mitchell then produced a brilliant double save from Ross MacLean and Charles Telfer.
The result leaves Falkirk, who are now unbeaten in five in the league, bottom of the table while Morton have gone five without a win.
