Rotherham vs Reading - Rotherham boss Warne hoping for fitness boost
Posted Thursday, December 13, 2018 by PA
Rotherham boss Paul Warne is hoping to have several players available again in time to face Reading on Saturday.
Matt Palmer, Joe Newell and Sean Raggett all made it as far as the bench last weekend as they recover from various setbacks, though none came on.
Clark Robertson and Kyle Vassell are also close to a return.
However, Darren Potter remains out ahead of what could be a key match in the fight against relegation.
Reading Under-23s boss Scott Marshall will remain in charge of the Royals as the search for a replacement for Paul Clement continues.
Marshall oversaw last weekend’s 2-0 home defeat to Reading but has had good news on the injury front since.
Iceland forward Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has returned to training and could feature, while Yakou Meite has an outside chance of coming into contention despite only doing individual work so far.
Captain Liam Moore is also close to a return after a knock.
