Isco confronts the Bernabeu after being whistled

Midfielder ruined a good chance

The situation with Isco continues to grow and on Wednesday evening, the 26-year-old was seen responding to supporters who whistled him after fluffing his lines in front of goal after some good play by Vinicius Junior in Real Madrid's 3-0 home defeat to CSKA Moscow.

Week-by-week, the storyline has developed, starting with Isco being left out of the squad to becoming a bench player, and it appears that Santiago Solari's lack of admiration for Isco is now being echoed by the supporters.

The 26-year-old seemed to be waiting for a better angle at goal, though this allowed the defender to recover and the mishit shot went wide left of the goal.

With CSKA in the lead and a large sector of the north stand wanting explanations, Isco reached out both arms, looked down and complained.

"What do you want?" Isco said to the stands, reported EFE.

The Madrid fans saw the action and subsequently booed the midfielder whenever he touched the ball for the next 10 minutes before another area of the Santiago Bernabeu silenced the whistles with applause.

It is clear that this was a particularly bad night for Isco, given the result and the response from the supporters.
