Gregor Buchanan’s second-half strike earned Morton a 1-1 draw at home to Dundee United in the Ladbrokes Championship.
United goalkeeper Matej Rakovan failed to deal with Michael Tider’s free-kick and Buchanan was on hand to nod into the empty net for his first goal for the club 12 minutes from time.
Belgian defender Frederic Frans had opened the scoring for United with a looping header from Fraser Aird’s free-kick in the 31st minute.
Chris Millar and Jim McAlister had gone close to equalising for Morton in the second half before Buchanan ensured a share of the spoils.
Visiting manager Robbie Neilson was sent to the stands by referee David Munro late on.
