AC Milan want to keep Bakayoko

AC Milan are in talks to sign midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea on a permanent basis, reports Calciomercato.

The Blues may have to take a financial hit on the France midfielder, with Milan hoping to sign him for £36m.

Mateo Kovacic is happy at Chelsea and has no desire to return to Real Madrid

Kovacic set to stay at Chelsea

Mateo Kovacic, currently on a season-long loan at Chelsea, looks unlikely to return to parent club Real Madrid.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, the chances of Kovacic heading back to the Bernabeu next summer are next to none.

The Spanish giants are said to be ‘very disappointed’ by the midfielder’s attitude in last summer’s transfer window.

The Croatian star effectively forced his exit shortly after the end of his World Cup holidays.

Real are apparently willing to listen to transfer offers with Chelsea expected to be interested in making Kovacic’s deal permanent.

Arsenal's Pepe push

Arsenal are reportedly looking to beat Barcelona and Bayern Munich to the signing of Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.

Lille winger Pepe has long been admired by the north London outfit but there is interest from further afield.

Barcelona are looking at the 23-year-old, who has scored nine goals in 15 games.

But according to Mercato365, Arsenal are keen to push forward with the transfer for the summer of 2019.

Transfer news: Is Mesut Ozil set to leave Arsenal?

Mbappe revelation

Arsenal had the chance to sign Kylian Mbappe before PSG landed the youngster from Monaco.

Mbappe landed the award for the best under-21 player at the Ballon d'Or awards last night after a stunning year on the field with PSG.

But the player now admits he could have joined Arsenal before moving to the Parc des Princes when Arsene Wenger was in charge.

"He [Wenger] is a real French football monument who has left Arsenal," the young attacker told France Football.

"A little while ago, before I signed for PSG, we were in contact in 2017.

"I chose a different direction but he wasn’t annoyed at me.

"He was a gentleman about it and wished me good luck."

Ozil to Manchester United?

Mesut Ozil is being linked with a shock January move to Old Trafford.

The German is facing an uncertain future at Arsenal after being dropped from the starting XI in recent weeks.

And after a flurry of bets in the last 24 hours, Ozil's odds have been slashed when it comes to joining Manchester United.

Coral spokesman John Hill told Starsport: “It looks like Mesut Ozil is going to be on the move in January and we are seeing one-way traffic for Manchester United to capture the out of favour midfielder from Arsenal.”

Suarez to Arsenal

Arsenal are one of the five clubs chasing Barcelona outcast Denis Suarez in January.

The attacker has been used by sparingly under Ernesto Valverde in recent months and is yet to make a single league appearance this term.

Suarez is now being chased by a number of European outfits, including Chelsea, according to Goal.

And now reports in Spain suggest Arsenal are ready to battle their London rivals for the player's signature in January.

Alex Sandro's Premier League offer

Juventus left-back Alex Sandro has an offer worth around £8.9m a year from an unnamed club.

Italian outlet Calciomercato report the contract has been put on the table - but don't reveal which club have offered the Juve star the bumper deal.

Manchester United are rated as the most likely, but Chelsea have also been linked with the Brazilian in recent months.

Fulham are reportedly chasing Liverpool star Nathaniel Clyne

Clyne interest

Liverpool full-back Nathaniel Clyne has reportedly caught the eye of new Fulham manager Claudio Ranieri.

Clyne’s injury woes have limited him to just six Liverpool appearances since the beginning of last season.

His sole game so far this term came in the Reds’ 2-1 Carabao Cup defeat to Chelsea in September.

Transfer news: Chelsea have been linked with Christian Pulisic

Sarri coy on Pulisic

Chelsea chief Maurizio Sarri has refused to talk about a potential move for Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic.

Stamford Bridge chiefs have reportedly opened talks with their Bundesliga counterparts over a potential January transfer.

The USA international is one of the hottest prospects in world football, and would likely cost Chelsea in excess of £70m.

But when asked about Pulisic, Sarri said: “I don’t want to talk about a player from another club.”

The Sun report that the 27-year-old could be sent out on loan in January to regain his fitness.
