ARSENAL would not have comeback against Tottenham under Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners won one of the most memorable north London derbies in recent years.

They originally led through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before Eric Dier and Harry Kane turned it round for Spurs.

But Unai Emery’s side fought back in the second half and further goals from Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira helped them earn the bragging rights.

According to Redknapp, the fightback would not have happened under Arsene Wenger in the last few seasons.

“There’s a massive mentality change at the club,” he said after the match.

“On the bench when someone scores they celebrate together.

“No disrespect to Arsene Wenger he’s been a Premier League great.

“People became so passive there [under Wenger], it just became the norm. The fans didn’t seem up for anything.

“They’re flying there right now. They’re a young team, he’s [Unai Emery] got go in him. He made brave substitutions at half-time.

“They showed a determination I just don’t believe they would have had over the last few years [under Wenger]. He’s [Emery] changing that club right now.”

Aaron Ramsey is set to leave the club in the summer on a free transfer.

The Welshman made a major impact when he came on for Henrikh Mkhitaryan at half-time.

“Bringing on Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette, Ramsey is a bit of a problem with his contract,” Redknapp continued.

“He made such a difference when he came on.

“The energy they [Arsenal] played with first 35 minutes, they were brilliant.”
