Paul Pogba appeared to sum up his time at Manchester United in just 10 seconds

Manchester United only managed a point against a struggling Southampton side on Saturday - although it could have been far worse.

The Saints took a 2-0 lead in the first twenty minutes at St. Mary's after goals from Stuart Armstrong and Cedric Soares.

The following twenty minutes would see the reverse, however, as Romelu Lukaku and Ander Herrera pulled the game back for Jose Mourinho's side.

United had pulled it back but were unable to kick on for another comeback victory, and instead, it'll be considered two points dropped against a side most teams expect to beat right now.

It was a game that showed the good and the bad of United this season.

They started terribly, as has become their custom, but managed to rescue something - another trait that they've been showing off lately.

And it wasn't just United who summed themselves up in Saturday's game, as Paul Pogba drew particular attention for one moment in the match.

With eight minutes on the clock, Pogba demonstrated exactly why he both delights and infuriates United fans.

The Frenchman fell over as the ball flew over his head but recovered beautifully to pull it down with his first touch.

Pogba then holds onto the ball, seeing off pressure from two players.

And then just gives it away.

There wasn't a challenge or anything, really - he just inexplicably gives it away to Armstrong.

You can check out the moment below:

And fans are saying that the little moment managed to encapsulate Pogba's United career as he showed brilliant skill and a bewildering lack of concentration.

Bizarrely, that wasn't the only time Pogba have the ball away like that:

The Frenchman didn't have the best of games for United and if the two clips didn't sum that up then maybe this stat will.

Pogba gave the ball away 14 times against Southampton - the rest of the United side combined only managed 16.

It's safe to say that the midfielder hasn't quite found his way at the club, and you've got to wonder if he ever really will.
