Sky Bet Championship leaders Norwich must do without midfielder Moritz Leitner because of a calf problem when they host Rotherham.
Winger Onel Hernandez (hamstring) is not available, but forward Teemu Pukki and midfielder Emi Buendia are expected to feature after unspecified knocks in the midweek goalless draw at Hull.
Captain Grant Hanley is stepping up his return having been sidelined since early September with a thigh injury, and the centre-back is set to play for the Under-23s on Friday night.
Kenny McLean (ankle), winger Matt Jarvis (ankle/knee) and Carlton Morris (knee) are all back in training as they build up fitness, while midfielder Louis Thompson (shoulder) also continues his recovery.
Rotherham are not expected to have forward Kyle Vassell available for the trip to Norfolk as he manages an on-going groin problem.
Winger Jon Taylor hobbled off with a knee issue during Tuesday’s 2-2 draw with QPR and will be assessed.
Midfielder Ryan Manning missed the game against Rangers as he was ineligible to face his parent club, so will come back into contention.
Defender Sean Raggett is on the mend from ankle surgery and played for the reserves in midweek, but will not be involved at Carrow Road as he is on loan from Norwich.
