Bristol City welcome back Brownhill for Millwall clash

Bristol City midfielder Josh Brownhill is back in contention for the Sky Bet Championship match against Millwall after serving a one-match ban.

Brownhill missed the 3-2 comeback win over Ipswich in midweek after he was sent off against Leeds last weekend.

Captain Bailey Wright could come into contention after thigh surgery for his first appearance of the season but Matty Taylor is expected to be sidelined for several weeks with an unspecified injury.

The game will be too soon for goalkeeper Frankie Fielding, who is finally back in full training after missing the whole of the season through injury and then viral meningitis.

Millwall manager Neil Harris will have to do without midfielder Ryan Leonard after he was shown a red card against Birmingham.

Forward Lee Gregory is a doubt for the clash at Ashton Gate after he came off in the final stages of Wednesday’s game with a muscular injury in his groin and stomach area.

Striker Tom Elliott is also a doubt after he missed the 2-0 defeat by Birmingham with a hamstring injury.

Tom Bradshaw is expected to be sidelined for the rest of the season following knee surgery.
