Kane continues hot streak against Blackpool

Herbie Kane scored a spectacular fifth goal in five matches to help Doncaster end Blackpool’s five-game winning run.
The on-loan Liverpool midfielder netted in first half stoppage time with John Marquis making sure of the win 12 minutes from time.
And it appeared as though their wait would go on during a cagey first half with few clear cut opportunities for either side.
Joe Bunney missed Blackpool’s best chance in the first half when he scuffed wide from space six yards out.
Kane made sure it was punished when he smashed in from 35 yards with Blackpool keeper Mark Howard only able to tip it onto the underside of his bar.
Chances were few and far between after the break with a well-organised Blackpool failing to threaten an equaliser.
And Marquis fired in from just inside the area on 78 minutes to wrap up the win.
Kane struck the bar with a late free kick but it was enough for Rovers, who had never previously beaten Blackpool at home since their move to the Keepmoat Stadium almost 12 years ago.
