Bury moved back into the League Two play-off positions thanks to a well-deserved 4-1 win over Cheltenham.
The in-form Shakers have now scored 22 goals in their last six games in league and cup.
Bury’s Jay O’Shea was thwarted early on when his curling free-kick was saved at the second attempt by Scott Flinders.
The hosts struck first when defender Chris Stokes tapped in from close range following a neat low cross from Danny Mayor.
It was firmly against the run of play when the Robins hit back 11 minutes later, Chris Clements confidently nodding home Jordon Forster’s right-wing cross.
Bury regained the lead when Nicky Maynard swept home from 12 yards after he latched on to a measured low cross from O’Shea.
Will Aimson almost made it 3-1 just after the restart when he volleyed inches over from eight yards.
Byron Moore did strike in the 72nd minute, robbing Cheltenham skipper Ben Tozer before tucking home from a tight angle.
And Maynard scored Bury’s fourth, lashing home off the underside of the crossbar from 12 yards.
