ENG D2 PREVIEW - Mansfield Town vs Crawley Town
Posted Tuesday, November 27, 2018 by PA
Mansfield will check on defender Hayden White ahead of the Sky Bet League Two match against Crawley.
White was pulled out of the team for Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Lincoln because of a tight hamstring sustained during the warm-up and continues to be assessed.
Winger CJ Hamilton played the full 90 minutes against Lincoln despite suffering from tonsillitis and he is another doubt.
Jacob Mellis (hamstring), who scored a last-gasp equaliser at Sincil Bank, and fellow midfielder Neal Bishop (illness) are also being monitored.
Crawley will be have leading scorer Ollie Palmer available again following suspension.
The 11-goal forward was forced to sit out Saturday’s home match against Crewe, which a much-changed side won 3-0.
Midfielder Filipe Morais (hand) is not expected to be available again for at least another couple of matches, according to Reds boss Gabriele Cioffi.
Defenders Mark Connolly (hamstring) and Romain Vincelot (ankle) both continue their recoveries, as does club captain Jimmy Smith (knee).
